First time participating in World Flight. I notice that none of the flight plans contain standard departure or arrival procedures and instead include direct routing. Is it up to us to find a departure or will ATC assign one or shall we avoid using standard terminal procedures?

As arrivals/departures are dependent on runways/weather they will be issused by ATC.

The only cavat to that is the USA, where the aircraft typically picks and files the departure and arrival based on the runways in use and their direction of flight.
